Job Title: Manufacturing Sales Manager (Direct Hire)

Salary: $70-100K

The Job Duties:
- · Develops strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to market company’s products and services.
- · Strategic Planning is to be performed through our Strategy Deployment process.
- · Develop robust sales channels using both existing company’s sales network and developing qualified sales representatives.
- · Calls on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders by phone/web conference or on-site periodic visits to customer facility.
- · Prepares and supports the preparation of customer proposals including pricing and terms.
- · Researches new emerging technologies and trends and how they can be applied to company.
- · Supervises the design function, participates in design reviews, responsibility for engineering standards and developing outside relationships including for tool design and tool production.
- · Additional duties include managing operations of a small site: manufacturing, maintaining quality standards; coordinating procurement and inventory requirements; and general supervisory aspects.
Background Profile:
- Minimum 6-8 years in a manufacturing with some prior supervisory experience and sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
- Prior experience in the plastics industry preferred
- Able to understand engineering drawings and other technical documentation
- Ability to understand financial statements and has demonstrated a strong financial aptitude in prior positions
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and demonstrate the desire to exceed customer expectations.
