Remedy has partnered with a very prestigious financial institution to support their search for a sophisticated Investment Banking Associate for their Healthcare Services sector based in San Francisco. As their Investment Banking Associate, you will work on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, fairness opinions, valuations, and strategic advisory engagements. Are are the critical ways you will make an immediate impact in the role:

• Creation and oversight of presentations to senior management and client board members
• Preparation of offering memoranda, pitch books and other material related to M&A transactions, financing's, valuations and fairness opinions
• Preparation of comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses including discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent M&A transactions, LBO and merger consequence analyses
• Oversight of Analysts on deal teams and assist in training and mentoring of Analysts;

Our client is looking for these important qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA strongly preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate strategy/business development
• Strong knowledge/background in M&A and demonstrated domain expertise in the U.S. healthcare industry
• Strong financial analytical skills
• Willingness to engage in moderate travel throughout the United States
