What Accounting Manager means to this company:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the site’s financial reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting. Additionally, the Accounting Manager helps the Operations team by providing support on plant performance, inventory accuracy, capital and resource allocation.

They also play a key role in supporting the business with data driven analysis, process improvements, cost reduction opportunities, as well as developing and reporting operational targets.

Principal Duties as the Accounting Manager include:

• Provides cost accounting and financial accounting support for the production facility.
• Responsible for the monthly closing of plant ledgers, Plant spending variances to budget, COGS, variances analysis, and period expense allocation.
• Provides support to the Operations Team, including standard cost updates, inventory reconciliation, variance analytics, and financial reporting for special projects.
• Performs Balance Sheet Account reconciliations.
• Performs capital project tracking and Fixed Asset Depreciation calculation.
• Works with the Operations Team to develop the facility Annual Budget.

The background profile we're focusing on includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• AT LEAST of 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience
• Technical experience with MS office, especially MS Excel
