    Remedy is excited to partner with a very well-established global manufacturer in the greater Fulton/Oswego, NY area as they look to fill a critical Mechanical Engineering role. This Mechanical Engineer will play an integral role in the design and development of production machinery. Here are some important details:

    Position: Mechanical Engineer

    Shift: Days

    Pay: Will depend upon skillset/experience but client is open to discussion based on your salary needs!

    Here is what you will be responsible for as their Mechanical Engineer:

    • Design continuous machinery to custom specifications.
    • Solve moderately complex machinery designs as directed by the Engineering Manager.
    • Calculate stress, deflections, and theoretical analysis.
    • Design in both 3D and 2D CAD applications
    • Lead efforts of other designers on large projects under supervision of the Engineering Manager.
    • Participate on Project Teams for contract and design review.
    • Coordination of scope requirements between the controls and mechanical groups.
    • Provide Sales with technical help on customer presentations and proposals
    • Act as liaison between manufacturing, engineering and sales representatives.
    • Participate in customer sales meetings and be able to lead other designers and draftspersons.
    • Travel up to 5% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-up’s as required.

    We're looking for Mechanical Engineers with the following background profile/skillset:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • At least 2-3 years of prior engineering and design experience in a manufacturing environment
    • FEA Analysis background is a plus.
    • Strong tech skills including SolidWorks/AutoCAD and MS Office
