    Remedy is honored to have been selected to support an innovative international manufacturer as they embark on a vital search for a Director of Supply Chain and Logistics. Internally/formally known as the Supply Chain and Logistics Director, this person will be tasked with providing strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the company’s supply chain department, managing all aspects of the supply chain to include, strategy, manufacturing, delivery and logistics, purchasing, activation and planning.     Job Title: Supply Chain and Logistics Director

    Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Direct Hire

    Salary: Will greatly depend on prior expertise in the supply chain field but our client offers a generous compensation package, up to $160k in annual base salary!

    Essential functions for this Supply Chain and Logistics Director will include:

    • Manages all aspects of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory, shipping and receiving
    • Designs and executes strategies and plans to meet company’s short-term and long-term supply chain management requirements
    • Make recommendations to improve Supply Chain Process in key areas of productivity, quality, efficiency of operations and cost reduction to ensure the supply chain organization design is optimized
    • Manage all relevant supply relationships and contracts accordingly
    • Oversee and interface with project managers and account managers to ensure that all launch timelines are met
    • Ensure inventories of all products are maintained at predefined policy levels
    • Work closely with purchasing to ensure that all imported bulk, raw materials, and packaging components required to meet customer and project needs
    • Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed
    • Establish performance standards for all staff and ensure that staff is held accountable for said performance standards
    • QMS Supply Process owner and shall own any other duties linked to it

    We will being immediate reach outs to those who possess the following background profile:

    • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university is required; a Master’s Degree
    • At least 10 years' experience in supply chain/materials planning, warehouse management, logistics, and purchasing
    • Effective leadership experience
    • Excellent proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point) as well as ERPs such as BAA or SAP is a must
