Remedy is partnering with our manufacturing client to fill their Maintenance Manager opening. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with great benefits!
Responsibilities
- Manage all maintenance related activities and operations
- Proactively ensure maximum equipment uptime through predictive/preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Synchronize scheduling of all maintenance activities for maximum efficiency based on overlapping operations and part availability
- Ensure spare part inventories are adequately maintained to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects and requirements
- Support the planning, layout, and new installation or relocation of equipment, or other maintenance related systems
- Instill a culture of Lean, Six Sigma, QR/QA, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and develop team members in their operational understanding and compliance
- Communicate job expectations and inspecting job results
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Ensure action items are addressed in a timely manner
Requirements
- 5 years of maintenance experience supporting an OEM supplier related manufacturing facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems and components
- Lean Manufacturing/5S Environment Experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track multiple teams and tasks
- Ability to properly delegate and not rely solely on immediate personal involvement
