    Remedy is thrilled to be working with a local food manufacturer with an urgent need for a Freezer Dock Office Clerk.

    This position works closely with the Warehouse and Transportation departments to maintain inbound and back-haul scheduling. Key interface position between customers and fulfillment teams.

    Job Title: Freezer Dock Office Clerk (Direct Hire)

    Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

    Location: Syracuse, NY

    Shift: 1st Shift / 9am-6pm Sunday - Thursday

    Pay: $18/hour **DOE**

    Essential job duties for this role will include:

    • Answering and returning all phone calls and emails for appointments
    • Enter receiving appointments in the company systems
    • Allocate, print, and separate orders for selection
    • Confirm and print invoices
    • Create cross dock sheets and load diagrams
    • Assist customers and respond to incoming calls, email, and postal mail communication
    • Coordinate with transportation department and outside carriers for outbound shipping needs
    • Build lasting customer relationships through positive communication and resolution of concerns
    • Seamlessly handle numerous and varied daily tasks
    • Perform additional job duties tasks

    We’re looking for an Warehouse / Freezer Dock Specialist with the following background profile/skillset:

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) required
    • Experience working in a Warehouse Management System preferred
    • Must have at least one year of receiving or administrative experience
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills
    • Effective Team Communication is essential
