Job Title: Jr. Mechanical Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY area
Shift: A-Shift
General Job Summary:
Manages, creates, and updates part work instructions for use in nearly all areas of the facility. Performs drawing or documentation activities to support production as required. Must be versatile with various CAD modeling software, customer/internal part prints, BOMs/Routings, and become familiar with all areas of production.

Education and Experience:
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Outlook / Excel, AutoCAD 2D, and strong 3D modeling experience (Solidworks). CNC Programming experience preferred, specifically with Trumpf and Amada CNC programming software (Amada SheetWorks, Dr. Abe Blank, Dr. Abe Bend, Trumpf Tru-Tops).
Other Requirements:
Strong mental and visual attention with concentration on detail.
Language Skills:
High Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
High Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
