Remedy is partnering with our manufacturing client to fill their Certified Quality Engineer opening. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with great benefits.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality system, building upon existing and establishing new quality processes, such as document control for Engineering drawings, BOMs, and SOPs
- Train new employees on said Quality Management System
- Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process
- Create, maintain, and report on KPIs
- Coordinate with management to develop OKRs
- Meet monthly OPEX targets
- Analyze, identify, and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements
- Perform audits and/or witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at contract manufacturer facilities, review results, and approve product for shipment
- Perform supplier quality audits in support of new supplier evaluations and non-conformance preventative action verification
- Maintain and control calibration records for all test and inspection equipment
- Develop an ISO Compliant Quality Management System and Lead all activities to obtain ISO certification
Requirements
7 years’ experience in Quality management
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or similar field
Certified Quality Engineer
Working knowledge of statistical packages, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
Project management experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing/engineered product environment
Strong familiarity with ISO concepts
Proven experience with obtaining and maintaining UL/CSA and CE certification on industrial equipment
