Remedy is honored to have been selected to support an innovative international manufacturer as they embark on a vital search for a Quality Manager to oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and special processes. This Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing ISO auditing/certification, corrective action documentation and quality management for special processes. Job Title: Internally known as the QA Manager - QMS and Special Processes

Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Direct Hire/In-Person

Salary: $80k - $105k, depending upon prior experience

Essential functions for this Quality Manager will include:

• Assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
• Create, maintain and advise on documentation such as reports, work instructions, trainings, corrective action documents/logs  etc.
• Refine/improve processes, procedures, work instructions, control sheets, etc.
• Conduct audits, create reports, and assist in the closure of findings by determining root cause and implementation of proper corrective and preventive actions
• Support the organization by ensuring that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
• Develop training to build quality awareness
  
• Analyze standards and procedures, implementing special process requirements and ensure that requirements are being met.
• Travel to supplier facilities to perform QMS and special process audits, follow up with finding reports, and drive issues to closure.
• Work closely with the Supplier Quality Manager and assists with activities such as creating material quality reports (MQRs) and sharing with suppliers.

We're actively looking for Quality Managers with the following background profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in Quality Management or similar experience
• Certified ISO 9001 auditor is highly desirable!
• Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is also a huge plus!
• Proficient in computer technology and programs, such as Microsoft Office (Excel is a MUST)
