DESCRIPTION:
- Handles and applies treatment products in an environmentally safe manner
- Performs water analyses for various treatment programs
- Troubleshoots for problem/solution identification.
- Installs and repairs all chemical feed and control equipment.
- Performs chemical cleanings and power washings on customer’s equipment.
- Recommendations for improving existing treatment programs.
- Operates company vehicles in a safe manner.
- Completes all administrative requirements as defined by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge in water treatment fundamentals, practices, and terminology
- Experience with related software applications
- High school or technical school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Two years of water treatment experience a plus.
- Strong mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Basic understanding of comfort cooling and heating systems.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs, climb stairs, and ladders
SUMMARY:
The Service Technician provides service to WE/C&I accounts. The technician provides routine troubleshooting, field installations and repairs to chemical feed/control equipment for cooling towers, closed systems, and boilers.
