Essential tasks for this Product Engineer include:
- Leads customer projects and works directly with customers on schedule, qualifications, and all aspects of project
- Reviews customer specifications and translates data into product engineering specifications
- Develops and designs product line improvements to Quality Department.
- Remains alert to new technologies which can improve cost margins, safety, and yields.
- Prepares prints, bills of material, and other engineering documents.
We're looking for a Product Engineer with the following background profile/skills:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Masters in Manufacturing and Automation
- Lean 6 Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
- Proficient in Solidworks or another type of design software (ACAD, Pro-E, etc.)
- Equipment/system design (mechanical and electrical).
- Must have FDA regulation experience
