This Designer/Drafter will prepare detailed working diagrams for the manufacturing of various products, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information. Job Title: Designer/Drafter

Job Type: Full-time/On-Site/Direct Hire

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $23-30/hour, depending upon expertise

Essential functions for this Designer/Drafter role will include:

• Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, you will drive product development, communicating directly with customers to provide quotes, responding to requests, and attending meetings/presentations
• Use computer assisted design/drafting software, working from rough sketches and specs from customers to create drawings/prints according to requirements
• Identify potential issues and redesign products to improve functionality
• Handle all changes and problems related to product assigned.
• Assists shop floor, manufacturing, quality, and planning as required.

We will be sending immediate invites to skilled Designer/Drafters with the following background profile:

• Associates degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting or related degree is required
• Must have at least 2-4 years of drafting/design experience within a manufacturing setting
• Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor or other 3-D Software
