Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Location: Rochester, NY

Shift: A/B Shift

Pay: Starting at $24/hour DOE**

Essential job duties for this role will include:

• Program and Run CMM Machine (Zeiss)
• Perform startup and shutdown process
• Calibrate with master ball and test plan probes
• Run Production programs
• Use Solvers and reset if not working
• Use customer supplied fixtures to inspect parts
• Visually inspect parts
• Use hand gauges to measure parts
• Complete required QC paperwork
• Perform Final Inspection
• Write DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports)
• Operate Mold Machines (fill in breaks)
• Perform Material Handling duties when required
• Complete required production information (routers, lot numbers, etc.)
• Change end mills as required
• Perform document control
• Follow Company required documentation and ISO 9001 quality system requirements.

We’re looking for Quality Control Inspectors with the following background profile/skillset:

• High School diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to read prints
• Good computer skills
• Able to use hand gauges
• Previous experience with optics a plus
