General Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer will lead and facilitate the implementation quality initiatives and their continual improvement. Responsible engineering activities and lead, coach, and facilitate problem solving, analysis of data and continual improvement activities.
Ensure the quality of the parts produced meet all expectations; quickly and effectively take action when external or internal non-conformances are found

Education and Experience:
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer and Microsoft PowerPoint
Other Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, stamping and forming.Ability to use standard manufacturing measurement tools and equipment. SPC, GD&T, DOE, Gage R&R, statistical analysis. Basic understanding of mechanical processes, materials and machinery.Strong problem solving skills. Ability to travel (15%) to customers and suppliers. ASQ certification a plus.PC-DMIS experience a plus.
Language Skills:
Very High Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
High Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
