We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Coach to help our Day site Supervisor create engaging and stimulating activities for our foster youth and developmental disabilities clients. As a Learning Coach, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities, supervising daily tasks, and ensuring that our clients are receiving the highest quality care and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • At least 2 years of experience working with developmentally disabled clients • Proven ability to develop creative and original programming • Demonstrated experience managing, supervising, and motivating staff • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in basic computer skills • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with the Day site Supervisor to plan and develop daily activities for our foster youth and developmental disabilities clients • Supervise and mentor other DSP's working under you, ensuring that they follow all agency policies and procedures • Work directly with clients on the floor to provide individualized support, guidance, and encouragement • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized service plans and progress notes • Ensure client safety at all times • Collect and maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Day site Supervisor or Executive Director
