WHAT’S A TYPICAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE REP’S DAY LIKE WITH REMKE? CHECK OUT THE VARIETY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
· New account set up, order entry, issue resolution, and customer inquiries. This includes quoting, providing price/delivery, order entry (coding), order confirmations and order
expediting and follow up (both internal and external).
· Responsible for crossing competitive products to Remke options (using tools
provided) and working with the Territory Sales Managers (TSM’s) / Engineering to find alternative solutions to customer’s needs
· Works with TSM’s to approve and process Return Material Authorization (RMA) and credits when required
· Occasionally CER will need to assist customers in obtaining product specifications, drawings, certifications, and documentation
· The CER will work closely with the TSM’s to provide feedback on opportunities, lost business, and samples. The CER will work with the Production Team and Engineering as required to provide timely delivery and status updates to customers.
· Understand Business and Market Conditions – Responsible for developing and maintaining an understanding of Remke’s sales model and relationships. This includes understanding the roles of end users, distributors, and manufacturer’s sales reps. Works with awareness of the current business environment including competition, general economic conditions, and internal production capabilities/constraints.
· Understands and provides guidance to customer’s and manufacturer’s representatives on the tools that Remke offers: Web tools, portals, EDI, etc.
· CRM Usage – The CER will consistently use SalesForce to communicate updates to the organization on opportunities, projects, and issues. They will also contribute to building this database with information which would be useful for future marketing opportunities.
· Advocates for the customers’ needs: build customer relationships and rapport
· Cross trains other associates
· Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration

· High School diploma (Related Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
· At least 3-5 years’ related work experience (Related industry preferred)
· Experienced with a variety of computer software programs (Microsoft Office, Epicor or similar ERP preferred)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – emphasis on customer engagement
