We are seeking a Remote Client Intake Assistant to support our admissions process. This individual will be responsible for gathering client information, guiding new patients through the intake process, and entering accurate data into our health records system. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and compassionate onboarding experience for individuals seeking care.
Conduct initial phone or video interviews with new clients
Collect and verify personal, insurance, and medical information
Input intake data into electronic health record (EHR) systems
Coordinate intake appointments and virtual assessments
Communicate with clinical and administrative staff for handoffs
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant
Answer questions from patients or families regarding the intake process
High school diploma or equivalent
0–2 years of experience in a customer-facing, healthcare, or data entry role
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Familiarity with basic medical or behavioral health terminology a plus
Comfort working independently in a remote setting
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
