Position Overview
At British Swim School of Northern East Bay, we are seeking a Remote Customer Engagement Specialist who excels in delivering outstanding service through digital channels and serves as a point of contact when automated solutions fall short. This role is primarily remote but will occasionally require on-site support for events related to our operations at British Swim School of Northern East Bay. The ideal candidate is proactive, a self-starter, and eager to improve systems and automation to streamline processes. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Candidates must be located near our pools in Richmond, El Cerrito, and Walnut Creek, preferably within the Bay Area, Contra Costa or Alameda counties.
Schedule & Compensation
Availability: Open availability preferred but flexible.
Weekly Hours: 16 hours per week.
Pay Rate: Starting at $17 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication: Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat. Ensure all first customer interactions are handled by a representative, stepping in when automated solutions are insufficient.
Lead Management: Effectively manage incoming leads, guiding them through the sales process to maximize conversion rates.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics, such as conversion rates and customer retention, to measure success.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace is a plus
Experience: Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
Automation Skills: Knowledge of automation tools like Zapier, Make, or similar platforms is a plus.
AI Familiarity: Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or others is beneficial.
