As we grow, we are expanding our support team and are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to help us maintain accurate and up-to-date records.


    Position Summary:

    The Remote Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient information, billing data, and administrative records. This position requires high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to data confidentiality and accuracy.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately enter patient information, insurance details, and billing data into the dental management system (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)

    • Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and appointment logs

    • Review data for errors or missing information and work with the team to correct discrepancies

    • Organize and sort documents for data entry and digital filing

    • Verify and process insurance information and payments as needed

    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

    • Communicate with office staff remotely to clarify data and ensure accuracy

    • Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed (e.g. spreadsheet management)


    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role

    • Strong typing skills and attention to detail

    • Familiarity with dental software systems is a plus (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, etc.)

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred


    Preferred Skills (Not Required):

    • Prior experience working in a dental or medical office

    • Understanding of insurance billing and coding

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
