    Today we are hiring a Remote/Hybrid, Associate Litigation Attorney for our client in their NYC location. You will be able to work full remote as long as you're residing in NYC and as a member of the NYS Bar! 

    Our client is seeking an Entertainment Transactions Associate with 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience, ideally within the entertainment industry.

    This is a hybrid role offering exposure to entertainment financing, IP transactions, and talent and production matters related to content creation and distribution.

     

    Position Overview:

    This role is ideal for an active attorney who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to deepen their experience at the intersection of corporate law and entertainment. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to work on high-level transactions while growing as a trusted advisor in the entertainment space.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, negotiate, and manage complex agreements involving music and other intellectual property assets

    • Support M&A, catalog sales, financing, and other corporate transactions involving entertainment companies and assets

    • Advise clients on talent, production, and distribution matters across film, television, music, and digital content

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of attorneys, consultants, and professionals

    • Engage in strategic problem-solving and develop critical insights on IP-related matters

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • 3–6 years of experience in entertainment, M&A, IP transactions, or related corporate practice

    • Experience with catalog sales and acquisitions (preferred)

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset

    • Organized and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously

    • Collaborative, proactive, and driven by excellence

    • Growth-minded and eager to build long-term expertise in entertainment law

    • Admitted to practice and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction

    Compensation

    Base Salary - USD $170,000 to $230,000

    Will have 3 to 6 years of experience only as a practicing attorney.

    Will be a member of the NY bar or able to waive in and have a strong academic background.  

    -Will have a background in entertainment, M&A, IP transactions is much preferred.                                                                                                                                                     

    -Will not have a jumpy, temp/contract background.
