Our Ideal Remote Operations Technician
Our ideal Remote Operations Technician is a critical part of our team and a virtual face to the customer. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing remote services and support to our customers by providing outstanding technical and customer service guidance. This is a full-time office position which is located in our Cheshire office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Remote Operations Technician include but are not limited to:
IT Support relating to technical issues involving; Microsoft's core business applications, workstation and server operating systems, and Dental Imaging and Practice Management Software
Support of disaster recovery solutions
Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
Basic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and software based remote access tools
System documentation maintenance and review
Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and path to resolution
On-call coverage
This position is in-office in Cheshire, Connecticut
