To date, we have successfully closed tens of thousands of residential and commercial real estate transactions, representing homeowners, investors, developers, lenders, real estate brokers, and agents throughout Hampton Roads. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Paralegal/Processor to join our team.

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and professional real estate paralegal or processor to handle residential real estate closings from contract to title policies post-closing. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively, manage priorities efficiently, and contribute to a fast-paced legal environment. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with competitive salary (based on experience) and comprehensive benefits , including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, review, and process real estate closing documents for residential transactions
    • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to ensure smooth and timely closings
    • Conduct title reviews and resolve any title-related issues
    • Maintain detailed and organized closing files from contract execution to post-closing
    • Manage escrow accounts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Provide exceptional client service and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

    Qualifications:

    • ** Minimum of 2 years** of experience in real estate transactions (law firm or title company experience preferred)
    • Working knowledge of SoftPro closing software is a huge plus but not required
    • Familiarity with title work, settlement statements, and closing disclosures
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing legal practice

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
