A Japanese food-related company expanding its business in the U.S. market is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager.

We welcome candidates who have experience working with U.S. supermarket chains, grocery retailers, wholesalers, or food distributors.

Responsibilities

Build and expand relationships with supermarket chains and food distributors

Develop new business opportunities and manage existing key accounts

Negotiate pricing, terms, and business conditions

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product distribution

Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities

Travel as needed for client visits, trade shows, and industry events

Requirements

3–5 years of sales experience in the food industry

Experience working with U.S. retailers, wholesalers, or the food distribution industry

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote work environment

Ability to travel as needed

Existing industry network preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working for a U.S.-based food wholesaler or distributor is strongly preferred

Experience handling Asian food products or imported food products is a plus
