NOW HIRING: Youth Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Instructors for Children Ages 4-14

Stem Squad is a program that introduces STEM education to children ages 4-14. We take strive to encourage the development of basic math and science skills, as well as to expound upon the advanced topics encountered in middle school, like robotics and video game design. We work onsite at schools and community centers all over the First Coast. We offer rewarding work, flexible hours and pay commensurate with education and previous work experience.

INFORMATION:We are looking for someone who has well versed in science, technology, engineering and mathematical based curriculum with at least 5 years of experience in the field. This Curriculum Coordinator will assist in the development of our curriculum to expand upon the base that we have already set. This consists of writing STEM curriculums that are easy to follow with well defined themes and technical terms. The theme/title of all class curriculums will be provided.

Work Schedule - 25 hours a week

REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible – arrives on time, productive

Professional – neat in appearance, friendly, courteous, and self-assured.

Educated – must have or be at least a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Teaching or hard science discipline. Masters degree preferred.

Enthusiastic – MUST enjoy young kids, be able to connect with kids, primarily ages 4-14,

Fun – enjoys having FUN and using your imagination

Background check cleared – A successful candidate must pass a Federal & State Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting
