Position Overview

Renault Winery& Resort is seeking a warm, detail-oriented Bridal Assistant to support couples and wedding parties on-site throughout the wedding season. This hands-on role provides personal, day-of support to brides, grooms, and their families — helping every event run smoothly from first look to send-off. It's a great fit for someone who loves weddings, thrives under pressure, and enjoys creating a calm, memorable experience for guests.

The Bridal Assistant works closely with the Weddings & Events team to provide direct, hands-on support to the wedding party before and during the ceremony and reception. Responsibilities range from dressing assistance and schedule coordination to styling personal wedding details and troubleshooting last-minute needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of personal support for the bride, groom, and wedding party throughout the event day, from arrival through send-off
• Assist with dressing needs, including bustling gowns, steaming garments, and handling last-minute clothing or accessory repairs (sewing kit, fashion tape, stain remover, etc.)
• Coordinate timing for hair, makeup, photos, ceremony line-up, and reception entrances alongside the Wedding & Events Manager or day-of coordinator
• Set up and style personal wedding items such as guest books, place cards, favors, and keepsakes according to the couple's plan
• Handle last-minute needs during the event, including retrieving forgotten items, relaying messages between vendors, and restocking the getting-ready suite
• Support the transport and safekeeping of gifts, cards, personal belongings, and décor at the end of the event
• Assist with minor room turnover and reset tasks between ceremony and reception as needed
• Communicate proactively with catering, banquets, floral, and audiovisual teams regarding timing changes or special requests
• Maintain a calm, friendly, and discreet presence to help manage stress for the couple and their families
• Uphold Vivamee's hospitality standards and brand of warm, detail-oriented guest service at every touchpoint

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in hospitality, catering, events, retail, or bridal services preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a composed demeanor under time pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort with hands-on tasks (gown bustling, light steaming, simple repairs)
• Ability to follow a detailed event timeline and adapt quickly to last-minute changes
• Discretion and professionalism when working closely with guests and their families
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work on-site at the resort/venue

Schedule

This seasonal, part-time position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hours concentrated around the property's wedding calendar. Schedules vary week to week based on booked events.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including multi-hour shifts
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and to bend, kneel, or reach as needed
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather for on-site ceremonies and receptions
