  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Render has the need for a Cybersecurity Engineer to develop and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization packages in support of various Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Responsibilities include:

    • Provide cybersecurity support for Navy and USMC UAS Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages
    • Create and maintain A&A packages in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST)
    • Work with Navy and USMC Authorizing Officials (AO) to obtain ATOs
    • Address Security Controls in compliance with DoDI 8500.01 and 8510.01
    • Work with customers and system developers to become technically knowledgeable of new systems
    • Willingness to learn new technologies associated with new systems, payloads, and cloud environments

    QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

    • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Access to eMASS or MCCAST
    • BA or BS degree in a technical field (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
    • Active DoD 8570 Certification - Security+ (Plus) certification
    • Active Secret security clearance

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience applying STIGs to DoD information systems
    • FedRAMP experience in a plus
