RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Information Security Consultant with Rendition InfoSec, you will be responsible for the delivery of information security activities during engagements conducted by Rendition InfoSec. This includes engagement scoping, drafting statement of work, determining the interaction at all levels is required, from executive leadership to technical.

ENVIRONMENTS:

Engagement environments you will be expected to work and manage may include high stress, highly operational environments. Given the diverse nature of engagements and industries supported by Rendition InfoSec, you must maintain effective communication skills to ensure that you gain details about an incident that is being reported.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Information Security Consultant services
• Provide Digital Forensics assistance
• Provide Penetration Testing engagement assistance
• Provide Incident Response (IR) support
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
• Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
• Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends
• Coordinate with analysts on open source activities impacting customers
• Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams
• Travel up to 50% based on client needs
• Craft technical and executive reports
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
• Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions
• (firewall and intrusion detection systems)
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
• Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or other related Information Security certifications preferred. Detail oriented.
