    Job Overview:

    Medical Operations is a department of Rendr which provides centralized support for our medical providers, from streamlining administrative process to ensuring seamless, high qualify patient-centered care. The medical operations intern will provide support to the medical operations department and contribute to ongoing projects related to process improvement, patient safety, or compliance. Interns will have the opportunity to observe various roles within the healthcare setting to gain a holistic understanding of medical operations.

    Essential Functions

    • Provide support to various projects related to quality improvement, patient safety, or compliance
    • Contributes to compiling and analyzing data relevant to the department’s operations.
    • Assist in analyzing and optimizing administrative workflows.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
    • Support compliance efforts related to healthcare regulations and policies.
    • Attend departmental meetings and engage in discussions on best practices.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Currently pursuing a degree in [relevant field, e.g., Healthcare Administration, Public Health].
    • Passionate about healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact
    • Excellent teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills. Well organized with attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Prior medical office experience preferred but not required
    • Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
