Job Description

Renesas Electronics is looking to fill a Procurement/Purchasing Support position in Palm Bay, FL.

** Primary Responsibilities**

• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
• Coordinate with inventory team, management and stockroom as required
• Process Purchase Orders and update requestors on the status of orders
• Provide multi-category support as assigned
• Assist in executing competitive bids and other sourcing projects
• Assist in communicating with and negotiating with suppliers
• Assist Analysis of changing market conditions - gather information for benchmarking
• Perform detailed analysis of spend and other data to identify savings, define efficiency opportunities, and tactical and strategic initiatives that should be undertaken
• Support periodic key stakeholder meetings to review commodity strategy and activities by preparing materials as assigned
• Build relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for negotiation

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a buyer/purchasing role.

• Functional skills: Analytical, highly attentive to detail, data management, able to learn best practices and principles

• Technical Skills: Microsoft Office required. SAP system knowledge preferred.
