Job Description

As an Electronics Lab Technician at Renesas you will work directly with the applications engineering team on configuring Renesas' flagship timing devices and lab equipment, focused on the 5G market.

Your primary focus will be to support the team with evaluation board verifications, equipment setup, automation setups, and evaluation board rework. This will require extensive lab work and some customized scripting, as well as interacting with cross-functional teams, to achieve the best performance possible.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

- Experience reading schematics and hands-on electronics debug.

- Experienced using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and

- Experience using scripting languages (Python preferred)

- Solder and rework experience

- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

- Self-starter, not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance

- Curious with a strong desire to grow

- Good attention to detail.

Optional Requirements:

- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and function generators

- Knowledge of PLL architecture or other closed loop systems

- Knowledge of transmission line effects and termination schemes (CMOS, LVPECL, LVDS, etc.)
