WE ARE LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME A/R CONSULTANT FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA (ORINDA, OAKLAND AND SAN JOSE)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide training to business office staff regarding billing practices/procedures, changes in billing policies, changes in company policies, and all other business office functions
• Assists with the process of monthly billing
• Assists with preparing electronic bank deposits for posting
• Runs daily census report and inputs changes into software as needed
• Runs Medicare eligibility reports as needed
• Obtains approvals for TAR’s as needed
• Reviews petty cash reconciliations
• Assists with the Medi-Cal billing processes.
• Assists with private collections.
• Assists with Medi-Cal Treatment Authorization Requests (TAR’s).
• Assists with the Medi-Cal eligibility and application processes.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college level courses in accounting or business preferred.
• Five years of experience as a Business Office Manager or equivalent experience.
