JOB DESCRIPTION
RENFROW INDUSTRIAL is seeking to hire a Sales SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. The Representative should have strong customer services skills and logical aptitude. This position will support the Sales and Estimating teams through coordination of leads, proposals, and estimates as well as interacting with customers from pre-qualification through proposal follow-up. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Tracks leads and opportunities using Cosential Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. (Training on Cosential will be provided)
- Maintain and update CRM system daily.
- Be the CRM Champion for the company with integral knowledge of the software platform and its application. Provide guidance on the use of the platform as well as training and implementation.
- Capture customer data to facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
- Prepare and submit pre-qualification packages to new customers.
- Manage sales collateral and marketing items.
- Assist sales with the creation of sales presentations, sales collateral, and trade show displays.
- Compile Sales Reports and Activity Tracking as required.
- Assist Estimating on following up with customers on outstanding proposals as required.
- Maintain required documentation and reporting on Avetta, isnetworld (ISN), Ariba and other customer procurement platforms.
- Maintain and update customer required insurance documentation as required.
- Assist with sales lead generation and appointment setting through target lists, LinkedIn, Industrial Directories, and other resources to help grow company revenue.
- Provide assistance to the sales and estimating teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency and productivity of the teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements POSSESS AN OUTGOING PERSONALITY AND A STRONG DESIRE TO TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. Have good time management skills, organization, and the ability to multi-task. Be an excellent communicator – both written and verbal.*
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ambitious, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a sales organization
- Previous experience using sales and marketing platforms (CRM software).
Hours are Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 – 12:00 p.m.
