Software Utilization: Leverage property management software (preferably AppFolio) to track rent payments, generate invoices, and monitor account statuses.

Legal Compliance: Assist in preparing documentation for legal actions (e.g., evictions, small claims court) when necessary, in coordination with management and legal counsel.

Tenant Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, fostering positive relationships while professionally addressing payment-related concerns.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Certifications: Property Management certifications or other relevant credentials are a plus.
