As a Rental Agent, you’ll manage a portfolio of residential tenants throughout their entire residency with Zukin Realty. From showing properties and signing leases to handling renewals and tenant relations, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring every resident receives exceptional service. You’ll also play a key role in marketing and promoting available units, supporting our real estate sales team, and representing Zukin Realty in the community with professionalism and care. What Success Looks Like in This Role • High Tenant Retention: You maintain strong relationships that result in a high percentage of lease renewals. • Fast Turnaround: Available apartments are marketed and leased efficiently, minimizing vacancy time. • Excellent Communication: Tenants and team members describe you as responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented. • Attention to Detail: Lease documents, listings, and communications are consistently accurate and professional. • Positive Team Impact: You actively contribute to a collaborative, upbeat, and productive work environment. Responsibilities: • Tenant Management: Oversee your portfolio of tenants from move-in to move-out, ensuring a positive experience and addressing all tenant inquiries or issues promptly. • Leasing Process: Show available apartments, process rental applications, draft leases, and handle renewals. • Front Office Support: Answer phones, greet clients, and assist walk-ins with professionalism and warmth. • Digital Engagement: Manage and update rental listings on the company website and social platforms; collaborate with the website team to ensure accuracy and visibility. • Team Collaboration: Support the Real Estate Sales team with advertising initiatives and contribute to a positive, communicative office culture. • Operational Support: Oversee tenant parking management and assist other departments as needed. • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on market trends and participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, successes, and challenges. Qualifications: • Experience in residential rentals, leasing, or property management preferred (but not required). • Three to five years of working experience is preferred. • Strong ability to work independently and think ahead. • Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with tenants and colleagues. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Creative mindset with marketing and social media skills to attract and engage potential tenants. • Tech-savvy, proactive, and able to problem-solve efficiently in a dynamic environment. Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000
