Job Summary

We’re looking for a hardworking Rental Property Maintenance Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our rental properties are in good condition, facilitate emergency work orders regularly inspect our homes for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our properties. Responsibilities

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on rental homes

Complete emergency repairs in a timely fashion

Control costs while keeping homes in good condition

Assist with small rehabs and turnovers

Inspect the homes for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs

Keep a record of completed repairs and when preventive maintenance was completed through our software

Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our property value and prevent any safety risks

Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent

At least 2 years of maintenance experience

Able to complete various repairs and upgrades commonly found in a rental home

Some knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing and minor electrical

Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends

Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
