Elsinore Valley Rentals is seeking a motivated and dependable Equipment Rental Yard Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining equipment and organization, and wants to build a long-term career in the equipment rental industry.

Position Overview

The Yard Technician plays a critical role in daily operations by preparing equipment for rental, maintaining yard organization, assisting customers, and safely transporting equipment when needed. This position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, fuel, and prepare equipment for customer rentals

Check incoming equipment for damage, leaks, missing items, and cleanliness

Load and unload equipment safely

Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and shop areas

Deliver and pick up rental equipment as needed

Perform basic equipment checks and minor maintenance tasks

Assist customers with equipment operation and loading

Document equipment condition and communicate issues to management or mechanics

Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements

Support counter staff and yard operations during busy periods

Requirements

Minimum Class B California Commercial Driver License (CDL) required

Class A CDL preferred

Clean driving record required

Ability to safely tow trailers and transport equipment

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Dependable and punctual

Basic mechanical aptitude preferred

Forklift experience is a plus

Experience in equipment rental, construction, landscaping, trucking, or related industries preferred
