WHAT DO OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE DO?
The primary purpose of this role is to schedule appointments for Sales’ representatives to meet with commercial customers from both inbound leads and outbound campaigns. This person will meet or exceed Baseline Sales Targets and meet or exceed KPIs while maintaining a customer service focus.
This role will require:
Effectively manage inbound leads [Marketing, phone calls,web,vendor,other]
Consistently achieve and exceed commission plan goals
Create and execute outbound campaigns and work with Sales in Region/Territory to assist in setting appointments for prospects
Gather qualifying information from customers and update CRM database with accurate information
Multi-tasking skills are essential
Meets or exceeds minimum activity requirements as defined in KPIs (key performance indicators).
Approach- focused on call and email campaigns
Communication- speaks with prospective clients- over the telephone, via email, or through web chat software- to discuss our value proposition and lines of business.
Tools- Makes effective use of Salesforce(CRM), HubSpot, BT Phone, Web Chat software, ZoomInfo, Google Applications (Email/Drive/Calendars) and UniQue.
Makes a positive impact on all prospects, customers and colleagues.
Enthusiasm- Displays enthusiasm and treats all prospects with respect.
Articulate- Gets through to and has meaningful conversations with decision-makers.
Conscientious- Shows self-discipline, acts dutifully, and aims to achieve against measures.
Work Station - kept neat, clean and organized.
Maintain proficiency in key market segments and translate that knowledge into meaningful prospect benefits as appropriate including core competencies: Products (all Lines of Business), Services, Operations, Competitive activities, intelligence, service and sales techniques, & Monitors and anticipates this competitive activity and provides prompt feedback to Manager.
Use appropriate call tracking system for outbound call campaigns.
Utilize Company designed sales process for outbound calling.
Collaborate with Sales on market approach.
Activity Tracking– Log call and email activity (attempts and notes) in tasks accurately and meet deadlines as appropriate.
Communicates necessary appointment details to Sales for successful presentations. Tracks and reports monthly commissions utilizing:
Sales Forecast and Unique and Salesforce Reports (provided)
Organizes call and email activities to maximize customer interface time.
Archives and manages important email communications and documents.
Constantly works on self-improvement and learning
WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.- Preferred
2+ years experience in Inside Sales / Business Development. - Preferred
Read, write and comprehend training materials printed in English.
Clearly hear, understand and speak English.
Sitting for sustained periods of time.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
High level of organization skills.
Work well under pressure.
Communicates and conveys a favorable image of the organization.
This is a full-time position. While the Business Development Rep will report to an office, occasional travel to North America sites may be required. There may be overnight travel required.
Work Schedule: This job tends to have regular office hours but may have extended hours due to time-sensitive sales deadlines and time frames. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
