Position Summary
The Repair and Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep and functionality of our restaurant locations by completing basic repairs, routine maintenance tasks, and minor facility improvements. This role is ideal for a dependable, hands-on individual with general maintenance experience who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, clean, and operational.
No special certifications are required, but candidates must have practical experience performing basic repairs independently.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repairs
Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other routine maintenance items
Repair or replace basic plumbing fixtures, including faucets and toilets
Perform minor drywall, patching, and paint touch-up work
Address small facility issues such as loose hardware, doors, and fixtures
Identify maintenance concerns and communicate them to leadership
Preventative Maintenance
Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks to reduce future repairs
Assist with seasonal maintenance needs as they arise
Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
Organization & Safety
Use tools and materials safely and correctly
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow company safety procedures and standards
Communicate repair status and completion clearly
Qualifications
Prior experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities support
Ability to complete basic repairs without supervision
Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation between locations (if applicable)
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
