Automotive Mechanic – Engine Repair and Replacement

Are you a skilled mechanic who enjoys tackling complex engine work, collaborating on custom builds, and getting under the hood in a fast-paced, team-driven environment? We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team working on exciting prototype and production vehicle projects.
As part of this hands-on role, you’ll go beyond routine repairs—you’ll help modify and enhance vehicles, troubleshoot performance issues, and perform full engine diagnostics, repairs, and replacements. What You’ll Do
Perform engine repairs, replacements, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles
Work from detailed repair orders or direct instructions to ensure high-quality service
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Document repair actions and maintain detailed vehicle service records
Operate shop equipment and perform preventive maintenance on tools and machinery
Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
What You Bring
Four or more years of hands-on mechanic experience in automotive repair
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Self-motivated with solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Personal set of tools and rolling toolbox
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive Technology Certificate or related training
ASE or State Mechanic Certifications
Valid driver's license
Experience with alignments, air conditioning systems, tire machines, and balancers
