POSITION SUMMARY

The Replanting Technician I is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for supporting the replanting of production bays after harvest. This position focuses on executing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure each bay is replanted according to schedule and company standards. The technician works as part of a team and follows direction from leadership to assist with machine operations, plant placement, irrigation setup, trellis installation, and general replanting activities.

Replanting is a core production function—directly tied to production schedules, plant health, and facility throughput.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Replanting Support

• Assist with replanting activities as directed by the Replanting Supervisor

• Follow the daily replanting schedule and assigned tasks

• Help ensure bays are replanted on time by completing assigned duties

2. Machine Support (JAVO Línea Recta)

• Work alongside the team during operation of the JAVO Línea Recta machine

• Observe plant loading onto benches using Rockwool media

• Assist in identifying incorrect plant placement, spacing issues, and sequence errors

• Immediately notify the Supervisor or Lead of any issues

3. Bench Movement & Bay Loading

• Assist with pushing and guiding benches into bays

• Help maintain proper bench flow from loading area to bay

• Handle plants carefully to avoid damage

• Follow instructions for correct bench placement

4. Irrigation Setup

• Assist with installing irrigation lines, emitters, and drippers on benches

• Help flush irrigation lines as directed

• Assist with connecting irrigation lines and drippers after bay loading

• Report leaks, blockages, or issues

5. Trellis Netting Installation

• Assist with installing trellis netting on benches

• Follow instructions for proper net placement and height

• Help secure netting to prevent movement

6. Under Canopy Lighting Installation

• Assist with installing under-canopy lights on benches

• Help position and secure lights properly

• Assist with connecting lights to ballasts after bay loading

7. Quality Awareness

• Follow instructions to maintain quality standards during replanting

• Pay attention to plant placement, spacing, and setup details

• Report any issues or inconsistencies to the Supervisor

8. General Labor & Team Support

• Support team members in completing replanting tasks

• Perform general labor duties as assigned

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas

• Follow all company procedures and instructions
