Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the TFF Hollow Fiber Filter (HFF) product line. Repligen Hollow Fiber Filter products include high-performance hollow fiber membranes and filter modules that yield successful results time after time for critical bioprocessing applications. Experienced in the science and art of membrane manufacturing, Repligen is setting the standard in tangential flow filtration solutions for concentration and defiltration.

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving and ensuring the long-term success of the product line. This will be a “hands-on” position focused on the operational, tactical and strategic aspects of product management. These include product lifecycle management, market assessment, process improvement, and contributing to the development and execution of strategies to grow the business. Working externally with the sales team, this position will be responsible for driving TFF Technology adoption and driving the internal organization to improve lead time and expand the product range.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

· Gain a deep understanding of the hollow fiber filtration business and market landscape, customer needs and market dynamics.

· Manage the product life cycle, develop appropriate strategy and tactics to ensure business growth and strong customer satisfaction.

· Support the global Sales organization, providing effective product positioning, sales tools, training, competitive analysis and in-field support as needed.

· Analyze and respond to technical questions related to product use and performance, tangential flow filtration, product quality, and service features.

· Derive forecast to ensure accurate demand planning, product build and revenue attainment.

· Be responsible for assessing and reporting on business performance through KPI tracking.

· Collaborate with Sales and Field Applications teams to gather VOC, derive and/or validate market requirements.

· Provide adequate input to, and work with engineering on new product development and/or product enhancements, based on VOC.

· Work with Operations and Customer Service to ensure on time delivery of products and services

· Drive resolution of customer inquiries and complaints with required internal functions including Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D

· Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective marketing collateral and campaigns

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· A BS degree or higher in a life science, biotechnology, or engineering discipline; MBA is beneficial

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial product management, business management, sales and/or marketing

· Experience with filtration operations in bioprocessing is preferred

· Customer-facing experience and the ability to build mutually beneficial, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)

· Ability to take initiative, hold team members accountable for deliverables, and obtain support across departments

· Strategic, tactical and analytical thinking

· Ability to travel globally, up to 25%
