    SUMMARY

    This role will primarily be responsible for creating and maintaining system generated reports used by the multiple sites. This position will be located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Portray Howmet in a positive manner, i.e. capabilities, systems, equipment, co-workers, management, et. at all times.

    • Development of visual reports using Crystal reports.

    • Connecting to various data sources, querying, and exporting meaningful information.

    • Manage the distribution of reports with data driven and scheduled subscriptions in BOE Crystal reports

    • Perform work on site in a self-managed environment while collaborating with fellow colleagues to accurately complete reporting requirements under tight timelines.

    • Creation of Dashboards within the Epicor environment.

    • Understand existing MSSQL database structures and tables, in order to create store procedures, and views to produce reports in Crystal reports.

    • Create and update documentation to represent processes and procedures.

    • Review and optimize existing queries written by other developers for reporting from Operations and Financial transactional databases.

    • Work with Business Unit colleagues to determine development needs for data automation, dashboards, and reporting requirements

    • Develop and maintain SSIS packages for importing large complex spreadsheets into SQL databases for BI use.

    • Develop and maintain Dashboards within the Epicor environment.

    • Ensure compliance by meeting all audit requirements including change management and disaster recovery.

    • Meet regularly and participate with the location Staff to discuss and prioritize work, needs and discuss solutions that could improve processes and/or production.

    • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Manager.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Institution

    • 2 years of related experience

    • Ability to occasionally push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs. for work related reasons.

    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • A strong understanding of ERP/MRP environments and the workflow associated.

    • Strong knowledge and technical capabilities in an Infrastructure primarily supporting Microsoft environments, databases, and servers.

    • Knowledge of, and practical experience with specific tools or technologies used to perform job include (but are not limited to): Excel, Crystal Reports, SQL and Progress DB, MS Office.

    • Development background preferred with an understanding of structured programming languages, database management and queries.

    • Knowledge, skill, and experience in composing, editing, and preparing correspondence, addressing policies and procedures.
