We are Pangea Reptile, and we are looking to add another member to our Reptile Care Team! We primarily care for Crested Geckos, which led us to the creation of our award-winning Pangea Complete Crested Gecko Diet.

Required: Some Weekends and Holidays. We strive to ensure our reptiles health, which means sometimes working Holidays and Weekends.

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am-4:00pm

Primary Responsibilities: As a Reptile Caretaker you would work in the Reptile Department and be responsible for the overall health and well-being of the animals. Be ready to get your hands dirty, interact with reptiles, and to wash enclosures.

However, you will also be responsible for being a part of a team. You will seek to improve not just your role within your department, but also your department’s role within Pangea. We expect basic courtesy and require you to clean up after yourself. *Reptile care experience preferred but not required. We will train the right person.

Essential Job Functions:

Prepares diets and maintains accurate records of animals.

Physically inspect animals and observe behavior.

Appropriately cleans/disinfects animal enclosures/habitats.

Stages and prepares enclosures, hides, and decor.

Runs washer, maintains equipment, and prepares washroom.

Weighs and tracks gecko progress as instructed.

General maintenance and organization of the gecko department. Asks for help when uncertain
