    LogiCore Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to support Architectural, Civil/Structural Engineering, Seismic Engineering, and Field Engineering projects in Alabama and Tennessee, primarily West Tennessee and Chattanooga, Tennessee. LogiCore provides the opportunity for this candidate to lead and work as part of a team of engineers, architects and other technical and administrative personnel. Given the nature of the work, the candidate will travel on assignment to perform fieldwork in the geographic area that includes the states of Alabama and Tennessee; travel to other geographic areas may be required. The Program Manager will oversee program.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plans, manages, and controls Program effort
    • Initiates and executes operations and support plans
    • Manages staffing, planning, and execution of contract tasks and systems, such as (a) reporting systems, (b) quality management, (c) quality assurance, (d) training pro­grams, and (e) site security operations
    • Ensures contract functions are performed and delivered in accordance with TVA and industry standards
    • Makes program-level decisions and responds to resource, schedule, or staffing mat­ters
    • Builds partnerships with clients by discussing and understanding their needs, setting expectations for performance, and developing a plan to effectively manage the con­tract to achieve stated objectives
    • Fosters teamwork, minimizes wasted time and effort, and facilitates an unparalleled level of service
    • Upholds the critical link between project staff and the customer, providing a terminus for 360-degree collaboration and feedback
    • Serves as the primary point-of-contact and direct interface with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative, any 3rd Party Contractors, and any other key stakeholders in the project
    • Collaborates with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Technical Representa­tive, and other Government management personnel to anticipate needs, assist with planning, ensure solutions are consistent with objectives and changing priorities, and facilitate all customer program communications with the LogiCore Team

    Required Skills

    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated capability for dealing with all levels of management personnel, contractor managers, and customer representatives.
    • Demonstrate thorough commitment to LogiCore’s strategy and mission with demonstrated leadership, coaching, relationship management, and customer relations encompassing the entire assigned program.
    • Demonstrate hands-on approach in leading a variety of initiatives; develop and implement strategies that will lead the assigned program to the next stage of growth.
    • Recruit, manage, and develop a strong team of professionals.  Serve as a “player/coach” to motivate and mentor his/her team.
    • Serve as advocate for LogiCore, with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills. Work collaboratively with internal as well as external partners and other organizations, providing exposure for program impact in a variety of professional journals and other media outlets. 
    • Demonstrate solid judgment, management-level leadership skills, integrity, and work ethic.
    • Interrelate and operate effectively with peers and others within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment
    • Manage a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities
    • Demonstrate strong analytical skills; acute business acumen, and common sense.
    • Commitment to quality programs demonstrating excellence in organizational and project management.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering; Master of Science Degree in Engineering (desired); Civil Engineering Degree (preferred)
    • 4 - 10 years of experience in projects related to architectural, civil/structural, seismic engineering, or field engineering
    • Professional Engineer (desired); License for the State of Tennessee (preferred)
    • ASCE 41 Certification (desired)
    • Computer Software (MS Office)
    • Project/Program Management Certification desired
