    Job Description

    Republic Wireless is seeking a Customer Support Intern to join our Community/ Operations team. This role will manage a variety of operational initiatives that will provide you with a strong foundation to pursue opportunities in a variety of directions. As a Customer Support Intern you will engage with teams across the business such as Supply Chain, Member Success, Product Management and Finance. This position will report to our Community Manager.  If you are customer focused with a desire to learn more about operations, this is the job for you!

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Customer Support Intern, there are a variety of responsibilities that you will take part in that range from writing communications (in the form of emails, internal blog posts, external community posts, etc.),  interacting with customers, to managing cross functional processes.  In addition, you will take part in some of our initiatives that include: 

    • Community moderation and engagement
    • Internal technical writing
    • Product launch readiness: Communication sequence for our Operations and Support teams
    • Knowledge Management:  Incorporating important communication updates in our Knowledge center
    • Member Experience: Assisting the Member success team with projects improving member communication
      • Much more!

     

    You can expect to gain experience in the following skills and tools:

    • Community management platform

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Pursuing bachelor's degree in Communication or related field
    • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
    • Copy writing skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Independent and self-motivated
    • Previous experience in a customer facing role
    • Proficiency using G Suite products including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
