Fralin Free Clinic, a ministry of the Rescue Mission of Roanoke, operates under a volunteer Medical Director and numerous other volunteer healthcare providers. The clinic team provides the care and services an individual needs to improve their quality of life with a focus on a holistic approach.

    Reports to: Medical Director OR Director of Healthcare Services

    Less than Part Time position with flexible scheduling options

    Clinic Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm , Monday – Friday; weekends as needed

    The Fralin Free Clinic is an active member of the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. Additionally, we are proud to partner with the Virginia Health Care Foundation, a private-public partnership dedicated to increasing access to care for uninsured Virginians and those in underserved areas.

    Our Team Members should exhibit the following:

    Strong work ethic and commitment to work as scheduled to include holidays and weekends as assigned.

    Strong listening, as well as written & verbal communication skills to execute instructions, keep others informed and exhibit professionalism.

    Demonstrated attention to detail/strong organizational skills to assist with multiple daily assignments and special projects.

    Ambitious to exceed expectations.

    Job Specific Qualifications:

    Valid Virginia Dental License in good standing

    DMD/DDS from accredited dental school

    Active Duty and Military Veterans are welcomed!

    Maintain own state required insurance coverage

    General Dentistry experience and skillset

    Ability to exercise good judgement

    Exhibit critical thinking skills

    Exhibits a great attention to detail with a willingness to exceed Mission expectations

    Ability to lead for engagement of residential and community volunteers

    All team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management with an expectation to complete these assignments as requested.
