Fralin Free Clinic, a ministry of the Rescue Mission of Roanoke, operates under a volunteer Medical Director and numerous other volunteer healthcare providers. The clinic team provides the care and services an individual needs to improve their quality of life with a focus on a holistic approach.

Reports to: Medical Director OR Director of Healthcare Services

Less than Part Time position with flexible scheduling options

Clinic Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm , Monday – Friday; weekends as needed

The Fralin Free Clinic is an active member of the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. Additionally, we are proud to partner with the Virginia Health Care Foundation, a private-public partnership dedicated to increasing access to care for uninsured Virginians and those in underserved areas.

Demonstrated attention to detail/strong organizational skills to assist with multiple daily assignments and special projects.

Job Specific Qualifications:

Valid Virginia Dental License in good standing

DMD/DDS from accredited dental school

Active Duty and Military Veterans are welcomed!

Maintain own state required insurance coverage

General Dentistry experience and skillset

Ability to exercise good judgement

Exhibit critical thinking skills

Exhibits a great attention to detail with a willingness to exceed Mission expectations

Ability to lead for engagement of residential and community volunteers

Career Summary:

Someone who is interested in providing comprehensive dental care while serving in a non-profit, faith-based organization with a flexible schedule consisting of 32 hours per month. Innovative to drive growth and change in how we deliver dental services. Having a direct impact on the ‘smiles’ in our local community. Ministering to adults and children through dentistry practices in a loving, caring, respectful and professional manner.

All team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management with an expectation to complete these assignments as requested.
