The position helps manage the flow of operations by triaging patients, managing respite, ensuring all physician orders are complete, and assisting other staff as needed. Although this position collaborates with the Clinic Administrative Assistant, and reports to the Manager of Health Care Services and Volunteer Medical Director, the Clinical Coordinator needs to demonstrate the ability to follow the chain of command while making appropriate decisions that directly affect patient care.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, working knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and health care clinic guidelines and regulations.

Ability to greet and facilitate registration of patients
Ability to relate to health care professionals and agencies on behalf of the clinic
Ability to speak at churches and organizations about the work of the Mission and its medical clinic as coordinated through the development office
