    Rescue Mission Ministries "Helping Hurting People in Jesus' Name"JOB SUMMARYThe Online Sales Specialist reports directly to Assistant Director of Social Media for the Industry/ Online Sales and works at the DRC warehouse floor and the office administering the online sales. QUALIFICATIONS

    Evidence of positive Christian Witness and lifestyle as referenced in the lifestyle covenant.

    Patient and loving attitude.

    Strong organizational skills.

    Ability to follow directions.

    Ability to be a team player.

    Strong oral and verbal communications skills.

    Ability to multi-task.

    Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise, furniture, and fixtures of up to thirty (30) pounds throughout the store unassisted and more than 30 pounds with assistance.

    Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.

    Basic math and computer skills.

    Aids in loading customer’s purchases/furniture, etc.

    Follow Rescue Mission Dress and Behavior Codes. Professional appearance. Dress, skirt, or slacks. Dress jeans without holes, tears, or patches are acceptable.

    Ability to use E-mail, Punch Clock, Intranet, ShopKeep register system, and cell phone or camera to take photos.

    Ability to use E-Bay, woo commerce, and word press on-line.

    Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks.

    JOB DUTIES

    Understand the quality of donations and where they will be sourced to produce the most income –eBay, on-line sales, 2nd helpings, or Thrift 460

    Selects, prepares, takes photos, lists and mails merchandise for on line sales.

    Handles and transfers funds for online sales. .

    Manage life cycle of products online and be able to re- allocate them as necessary to create a sale.

    Meet inventory/ Sales quotas and grow the online Sales business

    Greet donors, volunteers and employees with a positive attitude.

    Distribute donation receipts, coupons, and flyers to donors, associates, and customers.

    Answer questions regarding pricing, availability of items, etc. in person or on the phone.

    Keep a clean and orderly work station, online sales warehouse area, and shipping station.

    Be aware of Mission media moments: Take photos of donors and customers with their unique purchases and donations.

    Get photo releases.

    Email photos and information to Development for use in newsletters, printed pieces and social media.

    Attend meetings as directed.

    Other duties as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to write, handle or feel and talk and hear.

    While performing the duties of this job the employee will have to be able to stand and walk for up to 9 hours.

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop.

    The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and over 30 pounds with assistance.

    The employee will need the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The noise level and room temperature is usually moderate inside the store.

    The receiving dock is open to the outside, so when retrieving or storing merchandise the environment will reflect the current weather.
