Case Managers serves our Case Management Team by providing administrative support for the Women and Children’s Center and the Men’s Shelter. Reports to the Guest Management Manager.
Hours of Availability:
Part-Time with Flexible schedule between 8am – 5pm; Monday – Friday
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 (non-exempt/hourly)

Ability to engage with customers, guests, volunteers and team members.
A basic knowledge of general sales and merchandising processes.
Willingness to exceed “Mission standard” expectations.
Strong work ethic & commitment; work as scheduled- include holidays/weekends as assigned.
Strong listening and communication skills to execute instructions and exhibit professionalism.
Strong organizational skills to assist with multi-tasking daily assignments and special projects.

Proven advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Advanced computer skills

Case Management is a method of providing primary services to guests of the Rescue Mission in a collaborative way. It involves arranging, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and advocating for a package of multiple services to meet the shared goals of the organization and the guest. Our case managers must consider the biopsychosocial spiritual status of the guest as well as the systems into which the guest has both come from and will go to. The goal of the Case manager is to always obtain the best and most appropriate services for the guest in the shortest time.
All Rescue Mission of Roanoke team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management. Expectation is to complete these assignments as requested.
